Brian Sachson has worked in the film and television industry in New York City for over 20 years. He has worked predominantly as a lighting designer and gaffer to a wide array of TV shows, commercials, films, music videos, corporate shoots and documentaries. Along this path he built up not only a sizeable amount of equipment, ranging from lighting to cameras to drones, but also an impressive roster of some of the top professional freelancers in NYC with decades of experience behind the camera.

Brian has also had experience producing and directing a multitude of different projects, ranging from music videos to web series to indie films. Most recently he started up a YouTube channel showcasing the documentaries and short films he shoots in every corner of the planet.

He began Odyssey Filmworks to continue his passion for filmmaking around the world, to continue working with the most up to date equipment and technology in the industry, and most importantly, to continue building his relationships with clients and colleagues that he has loved working with over the course of his career.
